Mandala Theatre Company Presents Incarcerating Eve at Luton’s Library Theatre

Mandala Theatre Company brings a powerful new production to Luton this February with Incarcerating Eve, a thought‑provoking play written and directed by Yasmin Sidhwa.

Taking to the stage at the Luton Library Theatre, on Thursday 12th February 2026, Incarcerating Eve invites audiences to question truth, freedom, and the stories we are told about women who challenge the world around them.

The play asks a compelling central question: What if everything you heard about Eve is a lie? Through bold storytelling and striking visuals, the production explores how narratives are constructed, who controls them, and what it means to break free from imposed beliefs. At its heart, Incarcerating Eve is a timely reflection on liberation, identity, and the courage required to reclaim one’s own story.

Written and directed by Yasmin Sidhwa, the production showcases Mandala Theatre Company’s commitment to original work that amplifies underrepresented voices and encourages critical conversation. Known for creating socially engaged theatre, Mandala continues this tradition with a play that resonates strongly with contemporary audiences and themes.

Incarcerating Eve is supported by a range of organisations committed to arts, culture, and community wellbeing, highlighting the collaborative effort behind bringing meaningful theatre to local audiences.

This performance offers a unique opportunity for the Luton community and beyond to experience a bold piece of live theatre that challenges perspectives and sparks discussion.
