Donate goods

Women’s Aid Luton needs a variety of new or good quality items in order to help women and children in refuge as well as once they move on to live independently in the community. We are grateful for:

• Non-perishable food items (tinned goods, pasta, coffee, tea sugar)
• New and unused toiletry items (shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel)

We are currently in need of suitcases for clients in our refuge/moving out of refuge, and will be very appreciative of any sizes/dimensions. If you are interested in donating one in good condition, please contact our info line with a photo of the suitcase: info@womensaidinluton.org

Women leaving the refuge also frequently need the following items for their new homes:

• General furniture
• Kitchen essentials
• Home decor

Please note we cannot take any electrical items or items without visible fire tags.

If you would like to purchase something for the women and children living in refuge please consider visiting our Amazon Wishlist.

Donate food vouchers/gift cards

Many of the women we help come to us without a source of income so are not able to purchase food for themselves or their children.

Donations of vouchers or gift cards would prove invaluable to:

• allow women to purchase food according to dietary or religious requirements
• give women the freedom the choose the food they want
