I thought I was too old to ask for help. After so many years, I had begun to believe nothing would ever change. You helped me realise that abuse is never acceptable, and that it is never too late to rebuild your life.
When I came to Women’s Aid Luton, I was broken, depressed, and numb. Many days I felt like giving up. The staff were brilliant, they gave me hope and tried their very best to make me comfortable and happy.
Staff were brilliant and so supportive, they helped me so much and were amazing with my children. I cannot thank you all enough for all the support you have given me and my children.
Thank you for caring about me, I really think that without your help I would not be here today and for that I am so grateful.
